The Swimmer Series (2014) is comprised of 25 photopolymer intaglio (solarplate) monoprints. created using the same plate in this variant edition. This is an autobiographical series that explores my love of night swimming and plunging into ethereal spaces. When I am submerged, I am out of reach, and my inner most ideas surface in my consciousness. The act of swimming also reflects my physicality and strength as a woman. The moon appears in this series to strengthen the symbolic connection to the female body and womanhood.
